Micro Shiso (purple)

A staple of Japanese cuisine with a complex, distinctive flavour — herbal and minty with a hint of anise and clove. The deep purple leaves are striking on the plate and hold up well as a garnish or finishing leaf. Best used fresh alongside raw fish, rice dishes, anything with soy or sesame, or the right dessert.
